🌿 Why Shop at the Strathmore Farmers’ Market?

At the Strathmore Farmers’ Market, we proudly follow the “Make It, Bake It, Grow It” philosophy. That means you can connect directly with the people behind your food and handmade goods — chat with the grower of your vegetables, the baker of your bread, or the artisan behind your handcrafted treasures.

To maintain the authenticity of our market, we follow the 80/20 vendor rule:
✅ 80% of products must be grown, made, baked, or handcrafted by local vendors
✅ 20% can include high-quality out-of-province goods, like fresh B.C. peaches and cherries and MLM’S.

💛 Honouring Our Vendors 💛

At the heart of the market are the farmers, bakers, crafters, and artisans who bring it to life. Each vendor invests time, skill, and care into growing, baking, and creating products they proudly share with our community.

Some of our vendors have been with the market since its early days, while new faces continue to bring fresh ideas, creativity, and energy. Together, they represent a wide range of local talent and craftsmanship.

We kindly ask visitors to remember that every product reflects the dedication of the person who made it. Thoughtful pricing helps support fair wages, sustainable practices, and local families. When you shop local, you’re supporting the people behind the products — not just the goods themselves.

We are deeply proud of our vendors and grateful for the respect and support our community shows them each week.

🎁 Give the Gift of Local Goodness!

Looking for the perfect present? Strathmore Farmers’ Market gift certificates can be redeemed at any of our vendor booths — a thoughtful way to support local businesses and delight your loved ones.
