Market Notes

Looking forward to the 2010 season we are actively  searching for new local vendors who make it, bake it or grow it. If you have an unique product we may be just the venue for you. Give us a try and spread the word that you will be there with your wares.

Six foot table (s) and 2 chairs are provided for each booth. You supply your own table coverings, risers etc. Outside spaces are also available where you supply your own awnings, tables, table coverings and chairs. Cost of the tables are listed on the Vendors Page beside the dates of each market.

Vendors are expected to be set up and ready to sell by 3:00 PM and must not tear now before 6:30 PM.

Handibus Service Available to Downtown Strathmore Seniors

Each Friday during summer, the first pick up will be in the parking lot between Sunset Haven and the Lodge at 3:30pm. The second pick up will be at Lambert Village at 3:40pm.

After doing some shopping and browsing, passengers will be picked up from the Strathmore Farmers' Market at 4:30pm and returned to the pick up locations.

The large Handibus, with a seating capacity of 20, has been booked for every Friday until September 24. Only one run will be made each week, and seating will be on a first come first served basis.

This service is available to all seniors and disabled persons. The fee will be paid for by the Strathmore Farmers' Market.

Big News - We've Moved from Kinsmen Park to the Ag Society's Exhibition Grounds as of Summer of 2006

We have partnered with the Strathmore & District Ag Society to bring you a partially sheltered market on the Exhibition Grounds just north of Strathmore High School. This new location is centrally located between the residential communities of Hillview Estates, Brentwood, Maple Wood, and Strathaven. We are also within site of a four-diamond baseball facility, an RV campground, rodeo grounds, two schools, an arena, and a swimming pool.

In addition to bringing the market closer to a higher density residential area, the new facility will allow for more electrical hook-ups, washrooms, choice of indoor or outdoor booths, more customer seating, and access to rodeo crowds.
