Applications To become a vendor, please print out an application and mail it in to us. Strathmore Farmers' Market Summer Markets: June 11 to September 24, 2010 Mother's Day Market : April 24, 2010 3rd Annual Harvest Fall Fair: October 2, 2010 Christmas Market: November 27, 2010 An Indoor/Outdoor Summer Market with Room to Grow! For only $15 per week , you can take part in the Strathmore Farmers' Market. Following the "make it, bake it, grow it" philosophy, approved farmers’ markets provide a direct contact for consumers to producers. Consumers can talk to the person that grew the carrots, raised the elk, baked the bread, produced the jam, or knit the sweater. To keep farmers’ markets unique from flea markets or trade shows, approved farmers’ markets must qualify for the 80% vendor rule. That means, the Alberta product must be grown, produced, handcrafted, processed, or baked by yourself or an immediate family member or staff. Of course, any farmers’ market experience would be lessened without fresh B.C. peaches or cherries - one reason that Alberta Approved Farmers’ Markets allow 20% of sales to come from out of province and/or resellers. |
